no increase of boost with 2.8 upper pulley

ok, i hit the dyno yesterday just before Quick Canuck
to make sure my a/f numbers were alright with the recent upgrades.
temp was about 55-60 deg

JLP intake, 50lbs injectors and 2.8 upper pulley were the upgrades

with my current chip i have lost 8rwh since the last dyno.

so this prove this chip is useless
we did one pull with out the chip and the a/f numbers richen up a little and the power was close to be the same, so i know at this point i'm getting no horsepower from the chip.

my question is that i was running 14.2 psi with out the upper pulley.
with the upper being installed i'm still at 14.2 psi, we up the pulleys in the idler relocate to 100mm and change the belt to the smallest that we could find,

i was expecting 1-1.5 psi increase.

IM I WRONG TO ASSUME THIS???
i expected to see the boost to still come up.

We also had my chip there for the apten(when it shows) and did one pull it richen the a/f a bit but there was no increase in horsepower
so i'm not sure how good this chip will be, i await for the apten.

any idea's
should i ordered a #8 pulley and take off the upper?

thanks

With a 2.80 upper and k&n drop in stock box with the customary holes and a diablo chip (mild tune) I pulled a 377\466 in about 50deg weather. At the time I believe I was getting 11# of boost maybe hitting 12#.

1 to 1 1\2 is about what you should get. I managed to get a 66" gatorback on and saw another 1\2# of boost. The 66" is the only thing that eliminated belt slip.

When I pulled my chip out I dropped 24rwhp and almost 40rwtq.
The chip made a huge difference.

i'll have to check the number of my belt
so i must be getting massive belt slip

time to dump the upper than and go with the #8 than
