I started car, let warm up, slowly went through each gear then checked level. took it for a spin and check level, 2 days later check again. only had to add a little after the 1st check.

I believe you're supposed to check it with the engine on, in park, on a flat surface.

I want to do this mod sometime this summer so I have a question for you or anyone else that would like to answer.

I have about 600 miles on my truck. Will probably have like 1,500 to 2,000 when I do this mod. My question is do you have to flush all the current fluid in the transmission including the torque converter since its oil from the factory or do you simple install the FTVB and add (What brand fluid?) to the existing fluid now in the transmission?

The truck is stock.

Thanks for the information…

once the pan comes off, you let all the fluid that will come out do so. (Don't need to flush.) After VB is installed, fill back up with Mercon V, available at the dealer, and check levels for the next week or so, as the VB will fill with fluid over time and use, and may require you to add some.

just go to ford and get the fluid that they put in
no need to flush just add what you took out, and have fun
