installed a Bassani cat-back

Installed the Bassani catback yesterday. I've had the single muffler Magnaflow (with internal "X" pipe) and was not happy with the interior resonance at different rpms. I was told the single Magnaflow was the quietest of the bunch.

The Bassani is a big improvement in sound in my opinion. I was hesitant as I figured that two mufflers would be louder than one, but Mark at LFP convinced me to give it a try. The tone is very good and although definitely louder than the stock cat-back it is not obnoxious inside the truck. I put 18K+ miles per year on my truck and can't stand a loud exhaust all the time. I am very happy with this system.

It also solved part of another problem I was having; with my KB blower I'm making 3-4 psi more with the pulley combo than I was supposed to. I figured exhaust restriction, plus started thinking about the amount of torque I'm giving away by running the stock exhaust versus long tubes, hi-flow cats, and aftermarket cat-back, especially with the KB. With just the cat-back I dropped almost 2 psi of boost, proving to me that there's something wrong with my stock muffler. (It had a rattle anyway and might be a broken baffle). The headers and cats should solve the rest of it.
