Try again, asking the question the right way.

Does anyone who knows the part no. for the 4r100 trans filter know how to post the number on the forum? And, if so, would you? And If you are willing to post it, would you go ahead and do it so we can see it? Thank you very much

BTW Rob, Excellent response. Clear, concise, no B/S, sounds like a married man. LOL

The filter is different for the 4x4 and the egular truck, right? So, is that part # for the filter with the longer neck or the the shorter.

That price is for the stock filter...ie shorter neck. I'm sure the 4x4 filter is about the same price...

OK

What is your specialty? And does this truck have a 2 or 4 barrel carburator? Oh yea, how many lbs. of additional boost do the 4 lb pulleys add? 4 lbs seem like a lot of rotational mass.

1. My specialty is nonsense.
2. Our trucks have a single 2 bbl, 1050cfm carb.
3. Depends on how fast the pulley spins.
4. Not really. the faster it spins the lighter it gets.

I give!! 1050 2bbl huh? If you change to a smaller blower pulley, will the blower spin the crank pulley faster? You say it gets lighter. That's easy to comprehend if it's black or another dark color, but what if it's polished aluminium? Would it have to go all the way to white to be lighter?
