Predator & pulley

Hi all,

Am I correct in assuming there is only one tune for all pulleys. I just installed my 4lb and there is no other option in my predator but one generic pulley tune. They advertised tunes for 4,6,8 lb pulleys but I did not realize that was one tune.

Next item. Does anyone post downloadable tunes that can be loaded in the predator?

And lastly, my buddy has a powerstroke and a predator tuner. We do not see the speedo calibration in the menu at all whereas I easily see it in mine. His predator is a later version that goes up to 100hp mode.

Thanks for your help

Ron

you need to contact a tuner to create a custom tune. You will e-mail him your original backup program(stock tune), and he will e-mail you a custom tune. They've designed the P to work with only one vehicle. I'm assuming that custom tunes, therefore can also only with one vehicle. (which means you have to pay for your own custom tune on your own P)

I have a Predator, and had JLP install a custom tune with the unit at time of purchase. DON"T USE THE FACTORY PULLEY TUNE!! From all the posts I've seen, the non-pulley tune seems to work OK on the trucks with pulleys. The pulley tune is way too agressive and you will be running lean. Bad idea. I'm sure one of the tuners will chime in, if there not all racing in Florida this weekend.

What he said.

I had slight detonation with mine before I had the custom program installed. The default predator tunes are just too aggressive.

Thanks all for your feedback

I havent heard and pre-detonation so far. I'll chat with my connection with REM and maybe they can set me up with a proper tune for my setup.

I tell ya, even from a slow roll when I mat the throttle this thing lights em up and tries to go sideways. Tires and suspension are stock though.

Take care guys...Ron
