Well worth it in my opinion....SRT gets made to look like a useless machine.

Alot of the things said can apply to our L's. I thought the video made the SRT10 look pretty cool. Its not my cup of tea, but sure looks like it would be a blast to drive....IMO

Like the video suggests, I would rather buy a Corvette for that price!

Heh - they bash the useless hood scoop as well:

"...if it actually did anything it would be a great idea!"

...it is true, though. It's basically a hot rod. With no other function than to tear off the tires with all that torque.

Thumbs down SRT for $46K

For that abount of money you can build or even buy a real Hot Rod that won't depreciate 30% or more in a couple of years.

You can buy a nice 32, 33, 34 Ford Coupe or Roadster for that much money and you have a real Hot Rod, not a half a.. truck. I have a 27 Track T Roadster that is as useful as the SRT and cost about 1/4 of the SRT, plus no depreciation!

Real Hot Rods may even bee more useful than a truck that can't haul anything but a.....!

My Ltng is quick, has a real truck payload, even if it is kinda small, and is a really good tow truck for my trailer that I use to carry my real hot rod on long trips. The trailer is reduce my wear and tear, the roadster is probably as quick as the SRT up to about 80 MPH.

Waiting to see the 05 Ltng, if it can tow a trailer, I'll probably let my 01 go.

Interesting video. I wonder why they unhook the brake lights for all those tire smoking brake torques? Do they think we don't know a brake torque when we see it?
