Question New heads and corners, have question?

I finally got around to getting the 01' style headlights, I also ordered the diamond clear corners.

I got these from dynamic racing, I know RTkilla got his from the same place if you see this...
When I put the corners in, there is no screw hole in the new set to secure them in. They are in there pretty tight but I don't want them coming out.

What have you guys with the diamond clears done to secure them? Or do you just leave them jammed in there?

Isn't there a notch on top?
Mine had the notch and the old speed nut fit over it.

I don't know if your is different, but my diamond clear corners used the factory screw. It was a little hard to get started, but it works. i think i had to try it at an angle and then it went straight. They are a pain to get in there. Goodluck. Make sure to have your headlights pointed.

Yeah it took me a little while to get the headlights pointed in the right direction, those clips are a pain in the ***.

As for the screw hole, there is none Nothing at all possible that the factory star headed screw would screw into. Should I just drill a small hole or could this crack the cheap plastic??

It is a 2002 lightning bumper cover, but I got the grill inserts out of the classified to match my oem grill. Good luck getting the headlights and all put in. They will make your truck stand out in a crowd. The fog lights want fit the 99 bumper cover. Also I am on most positive i have the screws wedged in the corners. One corner the screw is perfect. The other was a tight fit.
