custom ramair (pics)

Pics of my home made ram air set-up. The scoop is fiberglass, and the tube is 4" flexible hose.

Do you guys think I should lose the factory fenderwell boot (and close the box) or leave it attached[IMG]https://www.f150online.com/galleries...w.cfm?num=5727[/IMG]

That's right!

They're up, but Jon, I'll stop by this week to show you up close. Also, I have to return your chip. Got the Predator, but Sal is taking a while to send me the tune for it

AMp,

It looks real nice!! I say keep the factory fender inlet, the more air the better! Dont worry about chip, keep it as long as you need. Again,,VERY nice job on the ram-air... hope the Predator works out when you get it, like I said, Sal will not let you down.

1. Open another browser window and go to the gallery of the picture you want to post.

2. Click on the thumbnail of the pic and let the full size pic load.

3. Right click on the full size pic and select "Properties".

4. Select the text next to the "Address" label in the "Properties" box. For example : https://www.f150online.com/galleries...3795-55930.jpg

5. Copy the text above to the clipboard.

6. Switch to your posting browser.

7. Click the IMG button and when the "Enter text to be formatted" dialog box opens, paste the contents of the clipboard into it and hit Enter.

8. Click "Preview Reply" and if you did this right, you'll see your picture.

I have the same tyoe of setup but i used brake duct tubing 3" like we use on my race cars and a naca duct that I also had laying around. I look at it as a cheap alternative for a cold air kit.
