"1.64 60ft" on M/T 28x11.50x16

Just got some new M/T et streets 28x11.50x16 on some AR 767 rims. Frist pass on them with 18psi of air they went a 1.64 60ft so I'm very please with these tires.

Nice alternative to Hoosiers. Best 60ft on Hoosier's was a 1.67 and they were the full slicks not the dot tires.

They also seem to be more stable and not sway near as bad as the hoosiers.

This is also with lakewood traction bars changing to JLP this week so maybe I can lower the 60 ft a little more.

Brad 2000L

7.78 @ 88.25 1.64 60ft

6lb
chip
filter
converter
lakewood bars

The best I could muster with my 28x12.50x16 Streets was a 1.73 and they weren't very consistent for me at all.I'm not sure if it was because it was just so hot and the track was that crummy or I had other issues.Three times I completely blew them off and had 2.0 60's.

I'm starting to think about the Hoosiers.

Great job!

I have the MT ET Streets and have never gotten any thing under a 1.8 60ft out of them and I'm spinning 10ft past the tree.

How much spacing do you have between the snubber and the leaf on those Lakewoods?

I have about 1/8" between mine and I seem to be 'bouncing' off the leaf on the 1 - 2 shift. I'm considering shaving a little off.

Thanks and awesome 60's and times!

tallimeca : I stall it up to 2000 rpm and try to mash it hard as I can to the floor!

eposey: Here is my full list of mods.

PSP 6lb Pulley
PSP Chip
PSP Air filter (not fast air)
NGK TR6's
Lakewood traction bars
2in drop shackles
MT ET streets 28x11.50x16
Gregg Evans 2400 stall converter

Thats all!

I had 18psi in the tires they seemed very consistent I even let my Girlfriend drive the truck for the first time down the track and she went a 7.91 @ 87.10 with a 1.68 60ft. All she did was launch off idle and mash it hard as she could.

NEXT is: Apten Ported Blower ,ZEX 50shot , and installing JLP traction bars tomorrow.

I have about a 1/4 in inbetween the snubber and spring eye! Yes when I launch it seems to make the back end hop up and on shifts.
