Cool FTVB Installed...

I installed the Factory Tech valve body in my new Lightning last weekend. Just a few thoughts:

1. Tim @ Chikenears rocks !!! He hooked me up with my FTVB, as well as a few other goodies. Good service and a good guy to talk to.

2. The FTVB instructions were the best I've seen in the aftermarket parts world. COLOR pics and every instruction was clear, concise and looked exactly like my tranny, down to the last detail.

3. I also ordered the larger capacity transmission pan, with drain plug and filter when I ordered the FTVB. Since I was going to install the new pan, I took Gregg's advice and used an awl to punch a drain hole in the stock pan. Let it drain for about 30 minutes and then dropped that baby down. Much less mess that way. Thanks again for that tip, Gregg !!

Overall, about an hour is all you need to install it. Simple, easy mod with no surprises or guessing. Out with the old and in with the new !!

Gregg, you are the man !!!

BTW - What a difference in the shifting. Easily worth the price, IMHO...

FTVB is easily one of my favorite mods! Well worth the price and tire wear!
