Shocks & Bars

I don't know about K-members for our trucks, but I do know that my Q-A1 12 way adjustable rear shocks are great for drag racing. I also have JDM's 58 inch traction/lift bars and can't complain about my 1.61 60 ft. times, John H.

give Anthony Jones Engineering a call. not necessarily a k member but they do have some light weight product for the front end.

they dont have anything listed on the site but they do have stuff for the truck. it costs money to go fast and its not cheap. i had a parts list last fall of what it would cost to drop about 75-100 pounds in the suspension and motorcradle area. not all of it was bolt-on parts.

most of this stuff was what was used on JLP's truck

sorry didn't want it to look like i was pushing someone elses products here. and figured if the MAN was really interested he could call or e-mail them personally since HE knows what kinda budget and the amount that HE would be willing to spend. and to tell you the truth i cant remmember all the parts we talked about but it was in the neiborhood of $4000 to drop about 125lbs. off the front.

a-arms
coil over shocks
manual steering rack
aerospace brakes/rotors
tubular engine cradle(cut out heavy bulky stock one and weld new one in)
all the way up to actually making a front subframe.

sorry if i came of harsh but when i started my reply i took offence to BIGFAN'S statement.

after finding out the cost and the fact that it would be a manual rack, this is something i would not want to do to a daily driver. but it may be something i'll consider if i'm looking for that last few tenth's. but in all reality when i race NMRA its open comp format and not heads up so really it makes no difference to run 13's or run in the 10's. actually i think the slower truck has a greater advantage but it's so d@mn cool to be one of the faster trucks out there.
