ECU Reflash

I know that Thor can make some people edgy but you're not helping yourself with some of the things you're saying here...

In fact the BIGGEST effect the valve body makes on the SOTP comes from the line mod valve thats in it. In my opinion members were being mislead and the ALL the info wasnt being shared.
PS - Have you ever taken apart one of those high dollar valve bodies ? I have
No, I'll send it to the same guy doing all the other reflashes.

Ford, if your reading this I do not have an RCON!
I have no idea who the person is doing this. I never asked for the name. Don't want to know. The less I know what anyone does in that company the better off I am.
I'm very careful who I trust in tuning my L. If I had the software and hardware, I'd tune my own L. I will be having the custom program flashed by this calibrator. I have a customer with a 02 Harley I just put a K/B on.
I have his spare PCM getting flashed through mark at BOP. I'll be running it on a dyno and seeing the a/f for myself. I'll post the results.....
I don't have the want to get into the tuning business. It's too much hassel. Too much time. I enjoy designing my own prototype parts for the L and might do it for the 05 Mustang. If this guy weren't around I'd have a Predator with another tuners custom file.
The chip and predator is great for tuning all out on the track. The reflash can also be aggressive, but this guy isn't into risking peoples engines. His reflash gives me additional hp and the peace of mind and all around driveability.
I can add mods and not have to deal with getting new programs and or chips reburned. I'll sleep not worrying if or when a rod see's daylight. I might get a little less hp compared to a chip. That's fine. I'm not in line buying a new block and engine parts.
I have seen the dyno sheets and results of this refalsh. I have been given some insight as to how the program works.
I'm not saying any of the tuners here are not capable or have no experience. I think highly of the tuners here. I'v been around this board since 2000 and seen the tuners here advance in experience and the hardware they use.
The only thing I'm saying here is the guys PCM performs as advertised. I don't have all the information on his sofware changes as much as I'd like to know. That won't be given up.
I wouldn't be here saying this, if I didn't see it for myself. I'm not getting a dime from BOP. I only get into these chit slinging threads when I see people jumping in with the full intent to discredit the individuals product.
Without giving him/her a chance to prove the product works. This program that is reflashed is a threat to the other tuners. It takes market share away.
If it were reversed, I would be on yours or any other tuners side.
One thing the tuners can say here is I don't talk bad of their products and I don't get on here and B.S. anyone into buying products that don't perform.
People in search of the big hp numbers need to remember..."The tune, or program will always be, only as good as the person that created it."
Some people are good tuners. Some are gifted and have a real talent for it.
Brian, do you not see the advantage of a truck running in open loop at WOT? If you had a program that can do that wouldn't you sell it?
I'm done with this thread.....
