went to the track sunday.
It was a hot & humid 67 degrees.. UGH!!!
And I only got to make 2 passes because people kept breaking down on the track. GRRRR!
I ran a 12.80 @ 105.92 with a 1.83 60'
I took the bed cover, tailgate, & spare off. Left the stereo in though.
My buddy Travis ran a 12.1 @ 118 in his new '03 cobra! He bought the car used from a friend who put a chip/pulley on it and made 455 RWHP!
It still has the paper air filter on it.. lol
My other friend Lee ran his new Mach 1.
13.46 @ 107.17 with a 2.20 60'. (bone stock!)
enough of that.. here's the pics!
this guy blew up his clutch & set the engine on fire! ouch!
we were down for about an hour so they could clean up the track.
I wonder if he had enough timing?
thats a hole in the bellhousing! EEK!

It's wierd that it was hot and humid and that most everybody in the pictures are wearing jackets. I guess you southerners are used to hotter weather
I'm a Fla native and used to be like that! 50-60s meant time for a "coat". Fast fwd to last night, I was in the garage with just a flannel shirt and I started to get a little cold. Looked at the temp guage and it said 48F.

we were having pretty hard gusts of wind.. i'd guess 10-15 mph gusts? most of the people with jackets on are skinny people.. lol

I wish my truck wasn't in pieces.
I think it was like 65-70 degrees here last saturday and I was stuck in the shop all day working on my motor.
those pics make me wish I had been at the track.
