Hi All,

After reading this site for a couple of months, I'd like to hear your opinions on the reliability of the stock (03/04) Lightings?

Seems like every week I hear of people blowing a motor on them, but I realize alot of you mod them up or drag race them.

so what's the real poop on these trucks, would I be able to rely on them as my daily driver year round (yes that includes winter).

Some guys could wreck a tank in 5 miles.
Other guys could drive it around the world with no problems.

You just need to decide which category you want to be in?

Daily driver or modded to the hilt racer, my '03 was bought last June, she has 4500 miles - not one mechanical problem! Oh, and I took the modded to the hilt on a stock block racer move.
