Finally got the wiring done ( Crazyone !! ) and man
this should really help my launches be a lot more consistent.

We wired the toggle (Radio Shack $4.49) as an "arming"
switch, cause I don't wanna grab that activation button
at 140 mph by mistake braking in a corner on the road course.

(Can you say "SPLAT" ??? I knew you could ... )

I tested it last night, and you really can do better with the
release of the button while your foot is partially on the throttle
and the rollout is instantaneous. My 60' times shoullbe a lot
more consistent now.

Look out Jon, I'm coming for ya !!! Need to order the TQ
from Sal, and get those Hoosiers !!!

Cliff

The momentary activator for the line lock ... You pump the brakes
up, press REAL hard to get maximum pressure, the depress the
button. Then you can release the brake pedal and concentrate
on the throttle. When you stage, you follow the same process,
but now on the third yellow, you just take your finger offa the
button and WHAM, your launched. It is measurably quicker
than the manual foot of the brake method, at least by the SOTP
measurement method. <grin>

The rocker switch is the arming switch ... Controls the
electricity to the entire circuit. The momentary switch
in the lower arm is what you use to activate the solenoid.

When the rocker is OFF, there isn't any power to the solenoid
or the momentary switch.

Some people use a toggle for the activation, but the kit
comes with the momentary. You have to keep your
finger on it to keep the solenoid closed and "lock" the
pressure in the front brake lines.

I smoked 'em up last night and with 610 ft lbs of torque
the front didn't even budge ... (could that be the Brembo's?),
Dunno if the stock pads would hold it all.

Cliff

Now to get the Hotchkis swaybars on ..... <HEH HEH HEH> One
straight line and one corner carver mod per weekend is my goal ...

Bring it on dude!

Actually I may have a little racing "down time". I am in the process of trying to make a deal on a Sonic Blue!

Anybody looking to buy a 99 L with 28000 miles, garage kept and excellent condition?
