My question is: Did Ford recently update the design of their fog lights for our trucks?

My fog lights have cracked so I ordered new ones. Well when I got them they looked different.

As far as I can tell the only real difference is that the cover over the bulb is missing and that on the bulb assembly the BLUE part is ORANGE on my current lamps.

As anybody else come across this? If so do they still work? I'm kind of concerned that I spent money on lamps that won't work for some reason.

I have the same problem on my 02 L....I will have the dealer swap them out next week. I did get to see the new ones and they look just like yours....Old ones are full of water.

Should work just fine.....

Yeah I figured I'd probably get flack over those. I don't really care what they look like as long as they're warm.

 

I had 25,000 Kms on my 03 :ightning and no cracks. They were sand blasted though.
My02 Lightning I was changeing fog lights like I was changeing underwear.
