It fit good for a fiberglass hood, of course almost all fiberglass hoods fit different. I didnt compare the weight of them, but if there is any weight difference it is nothing you can tell.

It hooks onto the stock attachments, except you will have to shave some of the handle off or it will hit. (The hood is thicker than the steel so the handle needs to be a few cm shorter)

The springs hold it up fine.

Other than that the hood was perfect!

For those with a regular F-150 air intake they give you and adapter that hooks up, just wont work on the Lightning.

The hood is approx. 5 lbs heavier and the handle will need to be shortened for clearance other then that the hood fits and works very well If you have an JLP aie intake just go to Jeg's and order the replacement foam for a carburetor air pan #710-97070 and install on air box and trim to fit. The air hole in the hood will be inside the foam over the air box when the hood is closed

Its kinda dirty right now, but Ill try to post some pics of it cleaned up soon.
Great looking hood!
I did notice that it looks like it's hitting the grill surround in this picture (could just be the angle). Easily fixed, but I thought I'd point it out.
