Is there a way to re-set keyless entry code without the factory code??

If I don't have the pre-programmed factory keyless entry code for the doors, is it still possible to save a new numeric code to it somehow??

the factory code is attached to module under the dash of the truck - did you remove it ?

If not just look up under the dash for 5 digit number on white box

This is on an Expedition that I was looking at. I didn't realize the number was elsewhere as I have only ever seen them on a card inside the owners manual. So I can find this code up underneath, and then use that to preset my code?

Well let me back up

I have a 2000 lightning that DIDNT come with the keyless pad on the door BUT DID have the wiring in the dash and the door to make the right handle and keypad work ... In my truck and every other 2000 lightning you can look up under the dash near ebrake to find a white box or a white sticker with the code on it - It would make sense that other Ford trucks would be similar

That code is the factory code - you can then set other codes with that ....

The easiest, but not the cheapest, way is to take it to the Ford dealer and have them scan the computer to pull the code. When I bought my '03 Expedition, the card was missing. The service dept tech just hooked it up to the computer and ran through a couple of screens and got the code. You do need the original code to make changes. Hope this helps.

My '00 has the code under the dash by the HVAC controls.
