sorry to be negative.

I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade or anything. I'm sure it will be fun.

but I was less than impressed by last years SSOTN spring event.

I enjoyed meeting alot of people there, but it was hyped as being some big mustang shootout with a special invitation for a few lightnings.

well, imho, it sucked. it was just a test and tune day. there were all types of cars and trucks there, chevys, chrysler, you name it, not ford only like was advertised. there was no structured racing whatsoever, just a regular old test and tune day.

$55 is alot of money to test and tune if you ask me.

Some of you guys should check out mustangweek its a lot of fun and there where about 12 to 15 L's there last year and it should grow a lot this year. Been working hard for the coming summer ,I know of a few L's that have booked rooms already and lots of stangs

 

What's it worth to see Gator and Rob 02 Grudge Race???
What's it worth to see Vinnie run a 10.7 and beat Sal in the process???

I have paid $35 to race at Cecil on a regular Saturday. What's another $20?
The fact that there will only be 150 vehicles, on a fast track, on a Saturday, in the cool of spring... It just doesn't get any better than this!
Wasn't there a guy a few years back that made fiftysome runs in one day? No crowds, no long lines, a great group of racers...
I don't know...
I guess it's all in how one views it.

I am not an SSOTN member and I have not seen Johnny post anything yet.

By reading the forum over there they are going to try and fill the spots first , before asking for outside help.

I have always gone through Johnny.
