I guesstimate somewhere around 775hp to the tires... Never dynoed on the spray, but its 620rwhp on boost only...

On a serious note.....what do you think happened?

Why do you think it layed down on top like that and what are you going to investigate first ?

This seems to be happening to everybody in this performance range, so I'm curious if you guys got any ideas.

What boost were you running ? Do you think it was MAF related or something as simple as the stock fuel tank not keeping the fuel around the pumps ?

Thanks Dale

I think I just lifted a head from too much cylinder pressure.. Dont think the gasket actually blew out...Although I havent done any testing yet to see how the plugs look, how compression is, etc...

The truck runs flawlessly right now. Almost like it just lifted the head at the big end and just set back down once I lifted at the end of the 1/4... I see between 20 and 23psi with that pulley combination...

Im not sure how Im going to fix it... Going to look into O-Ringing the block/heads and checking on my options as far as additional clamping force on the heads.. Luckily Duttweiler is like 5min away from my house so I can (hopefully) go pick his / their brain for a bit on my options...

I just dont know at this point...

My mistake

SVT F15O's post brought it to my attention... I updated the thread title to make searches more accurate.

Dale - GREAT Sig pic...

Congratts Dale
Awesome run, sorry about lifting the head, but that can be fixed, and there shouldn't be any other damage to the motor.

You might want to look into copper head gaskets

Can't wait to see you get into the 9's
