Charge to remove blower ??

im sending it off to get ported in a few weeks.... but i got a delima... iv never really done anything like this before, as far as taking engine apart.... i basically have only changed oil, rotated tires, etc easy stuff...

although removing the blower looks easy... im a little nervous to tackle it myself.... it looks like just a handful of bolts and a few hoses and thats it... but im sure its not that easy...

had 2 questions...

1. how hard is it to do yourself?? anyone have any step by step pictures???

2. if i were to pay someone to remove it and then put back on when I get it back.... how much is MOST i should pay for that?

not just money wise, but just for myself... i would like to do myself....

It isn't real difficult a few basic rachets, extension, and metric sockets and you're in business.

if you can change oil you can pull a blower
here are some links:

the key is to have the right tools. extensions from 1 inch to 12 inch, deep sockets, breaker bar, etc..

Fairly easy. It took a hour and a half to take it off and 2 hrs to put it on.

My SVT mechanic came to my house and took it off and put it back on for a total of $40

Well worth it for me.....I didn't want to touch it hehe
