Blower pulley question??

What does the stock pulley look like compared to a different one. What does it mean whey you say like #4 or #6, it the amount of more boost you will get and is it better to get a blower pulley or underdirve pulleys like for the crank and stuff. This L I will be looking at I want to know if it has stock pulleys or aftermarket? Thanks!!

I have a PSP 6# lower and a Reichard Racing 2.75" upper pulley. It's pretty hard to mistake them if they are on the truck. They are nice and shiney.

As far as the upper puley goes, the stock one is black, and many of the aftermarket ones are silver like the one above. not all of them are though. To answer your other question when somebody says 4# pulley that means it adds 4 lbs of boost. Same goes for 2# or 6# or whatever#. However when your talking about upper pulleys "2.75" refers to diameter I believe. In which case the smaller the number the more boost it makes. Also most people would tell you to go with a lower pulley rather than an upper blower pulley.

thanks for the tips, so the lower pulley (crank) allows the other pulleys to spin more so intern building up a little more boost on the blower which I assume is a little safer than putting smaller pulley on the blower it self
