Ya I just found that out about the Z3 isnt as fast as I thought. I found a site called www.dragtimes.com ... pretty cool site. Thanks for the info though. The reason I asked was I was talkin to a girl that said she beat a Z3, so I didnt know if that was good or not. No I now that doesnt take a whole lot

Actually, they make Z3 roadsters, z3 hatchbacks, and then M3 varients of those. Not all Z3 hatchbacks are M.

I just raced an M roadster last sunday on PCH... May be the driver is not that good with a stick shift (thou he managed a very quick shift into second), but I gained 1/2 of a car on him instantly and at that point I was very slowly pulling away... Now we have an M5 and that thing walks away from me like nothing with 5 people in it... oh and I'm competely stock btw... not for long thou

My wife drives a Z3. It's a quick, fun, agile and good looking little roadster and I enjoy driving it but my L will blow it away. It's quicker than a lot of others, however.

SHO

I just took a look at www.dragtimes.com for the first time in a long while and was happy to see Mark Nunnally's modified '89 SHO listed with a 12.9 sec., 109.9 mph time in the quarter! My mostly stock '90 SHO wasn't that fast, of course, but I still miss all the fun it gave me during the 10 years it graced my garage.

In the quarter, against the M variant, it would be driver dependent close race. Could go either way.
