Not to be a smart-*** but I have asked this question in the past only to be told that all L's have a trip computer. WRONG they all have a trip odometer not a trip computer. Has anyone added the trip computer (gives mileage, distance to empty,oil info, etc) from a Lariat or something similar(i.e. expedition,Navigator). The particular unit I am talking about is the on that goes in the overhead console. This would be a nice functional mod if someone has done it and wants to share the info that would be GREAT !

all they really do is tell you your average gas mileage and average speed. Both are completely useless in my opinion. If you want gas mileage its easy enough to do without a computer. And if you want average speed........why?

 

Why not would be a better question ? If it is good enough for the other Fords why not the Premier SVT edition ?

 

i don't really see the need for it.. maybe they were saving money by not putting it in?

 

I don't own an L but if I did I don't think I'd want to know the mileage. Probably better off not knowing.
