I might be back in the game....
I have a 2003 L so i think the heads are the updated ones that are not supposed to spit plugs. One morning i tried starting it up and it ran rough for about 1 min then died when i hit the gas. It was idling real rough. Wouldnt start after that. Ooo and it made more black smoke than a bomb going off while idling. Had to have it towed out of the driveway. It took them 3 days to fully diagnose and fix my truck. 3 spit plugs. Bad fuel pump. Bad fuel lines. Bad O2 sensors. Bad injectors. In the end the bad plugs set off a chain of events. They actually had the service manager drive the truck back along with the guy that worked on my truck. They explained everything to me on there own time. But then they said they "forgot" a piece of paper at the shop but it wasnt important. I went in the next day to pick it up and sure enough. There it was. I had about 3000miles and no mods at all. Where is Pepperell? I live 10 minutes outside Boston.

Thanks everyone,
You guys are a class act. I miss my 01 everyday, nothing like the whine of the blower and the bassani signing its tune. I watch that video I made and it makes me sad.
This one is going to have to be on a budget for awhile, I cant get crazy with mods till after this house is built. I signed the contract on the house this week and they are supposed to be done by August so this prolly winter she will be in the 400/500 club like my previous truck was, thats enough for me I think

Looks like a nice truck and would be a heck of a deal if you can get it for that price.
Just curious as to what you mean by having your dealer buy the truck. Wouldn't they want to jack the price up so they can make a profit? Why don't you just sell them the Honda direct and purchase the truck yourself?

I am a Parts manager at a Honda dealership, My GM will do stuff for me for few hundred over what the truck costs to procces the transaction. The taxes I will save alone on the transaction will be over $1500.00
If i win the auction my dealership will buy the vehicle just like they would at a regular auction. They cut me check and I go get it next weekend. I then trade my Accord in and the finance the balance with a lender.
Plus the dont bone me on the trade

Just a question though....... why u get rid of the supra????
Those cars are badass, and if I am not mistaken yours was badass!!!
I sold my L to get the Supra and it sort of took over my life. I lived and breathed for the next mod or upgrade I could do it, I was badly obssesed with it. After I bought it I discovered that its was mechanically a total mess it leaked fluid, clutch gone, turbo's gone ect ect ect. However it was nearly perfect cosmetically.
The motor itself had good solid compression and leak down numbers so I decided to to remove the entire driveline and start fresh and things sort of got out of hand. I spent over to 15k in parts and several hundred hours of my own labor over ten months to make one of the nicest and most tastefully modded Supra's in the country. It just got to be to much and I got a chance to get most of my money back so I sold and paid off the 20g's in CC debt I was rolling with.
Here are some pics.
The start :
See the lightning hitch in the back round lol. I still got it hahaha
The entire buildup is saved on my F150 online gallery here :
