I saw a black & while L headed west on hwy 52 at about 3:45 this afternoon. I couldn't tell if it was a CHP or a SD Sheriff.
I was headed east when I saw it coming up the other side of the highway. I was about 2 miles away from an exit (Mast blvd) that I could turn around at. Needless to say I would never have been able to catch up to it.
Has anyone in the SD area seen this before?
There was no way I could get a picture of it, but if I see it again I'll try to get it to pull over and find out it's story and maybe get a picture of it.

Friend of a friend does that all the time when he sees a cop speeding without his lights or siren on. Gets their car # and name and files a complaint. Ga law says they are not supposed to be speeding without lights or siren on.

 

never seen it, but ill keep my eyes open for it...im not up near the 52, but maybe itll come down my way...

 

I've seen San Diego Sheriff, Mustang Black & White w/lights ontop @ Carlsbad........can't remember what he ran

Nope I have never seen this L before and I drive by the 52 every day. That would be a sweet cops ride though. I have seen a red L with pepsi graphics all the time driving on the 805 to work in the morning. Are you sure it was a cop?
