Someone explain this to me (ebay)

okay, check this auction out... It advertises the peformance "chip" for lightnings...sounds cool and all, but what the heck is "Sorry will not work on turbo or supercharged engines." all about???

I think so, cept it wont work for the car its 'supposed' to work for.

hehehe, the scams are gettin better and better.

That is a 4.7 OHM half watt resistor in a nice package. It will slide into the place where your intake temp sensor is, making it constantly read a low temperature, something like 55 degress. As your engine thinks you have lower intake temps it is supposed to advance timing just a tad. A complete waste of money, and a very bad mod.

And I can't believe its 20 bucks. It used to be they would sell em for 4 bucks and just send you the resistor and a crappy instruction sheet and it would sell for every car. That pacakagin etc makes it seem more legit, but trust me, it's not. Im not even sure it works.

actually the IAT would probably read higher than his air temp really is, so it would be less timing. Maybe you should buy that thing for him gator.
