It looks like the wide connector is for the diagnostic port under the dash and the narrow connector is a 9 pin serial port connector. The serial connector has to go to the programmer meaning a serial cable should do the job connecting to the computer.

Unless they are buying from a military contractor, I think $100 for a cable is a bit much.

The cable needed for your laptop or home PC will cost an extra 100-150 bucks or so (could be lower, could be higher, thats a ballpark)

You guys should really talk to Mike Troyer more often, he was the first SCT dealer and has been working with this unit for months and is the only one working one programs for the 04 F-150

Excellent tuning tool nontheless

JDM is not just any SCT dealer.

Pricing or options has not been listed.

Never said this was "Sliced bread" , But pretty cool if you like JDM tunes. (Kinda like how JLP guys were happy to see the predator)

But thanks for the heads -up.

Sweet!

Now I'm glad I was to poor to get the predator!

From the sounds of this, the Predator still sounds better. I thought you could store quite a few programs in it and choose from there. But, I also do not know the pricing of each either.

At modular performance they are something like $700. You can adjust a lot more with the sct than the predator. I like the price of the tweecer better. If they would make the tweecer RT for the lightning I'd have one. They only make the regular tweecer for the cux2.
