Question Cheapest Rims for Slicks?

What are the cheapest racing wheels one could get for slicks? I would rather put the money into the tires than the wheels. Not a big fan of the spare tire rims either.

American Racing?
Eagle Racing?

Also, what backspacing and bolt pattern do I need? I am going to try to run a 26x10 or 28x10

Thanks!

American Racing Baja 10X16 5X135mm (1726135)

The American Racing Baja wheels are a great wheel for people looking for a lightweight aluminum wheel in a 16"
Price: $141.95

Or the Cheaper Fuglier Painted Rims I got at @ $100.00 each
but you can only get up to 16x8
I run 16" 28x10 Hoosiers (C07) on AR 16x8 Black Rims

I just picked up two used Mickey Thompson Classic II's for $50 a pce. They're in perfect condition - so I recommend you take a look in your local newspaper's classifieds.

Dumm A$$ question, with the 28x10 hoosiers, will the 10"rim give a better launch than being mounted on the 8"fuglier rims?
I know the sidewalls will be straighter on the 10". (I also have the 16x8 like Rob)

You get more contact patch on a 16x10 than a 16x8 so yes theoretically you should get more rubber to hook with

I use to run these wheels on my 93 Lightning. They'll build them however you want!

I run the 16x10 Hoosiers on 16x8 rims and get a 1.6 60ft
everytime

But if I had a choice, of course I rather have a 10" rim,
one has to assume you'd have a tiny bit more rubber on
the ground

Through a friend of mines job, I'm able to get the American Racing Baja's in 16x8 for $97 and in 16x10 for $100 each. I just gotta save some money up so I can get them.

I dunno what shipping on them would be to indiana. But I could ask if he can hook it up for you both if you want. SVT, it would be easy for you, your only in NJ and could come pick them up. I'll see what I can do for you guys o.k. ?
