Will the lugnuts that come with the American Racing rims work? Are they deep enough for the wheel mounting studs on our trucks???

I am a slicks newbie

It doesn't say whether it is aluminum or not...

The AR black steels are only $68 at Pep Boys

They are aluminum, I have a pair for my slicks, you cannot see anything different from the ARs other than a diffrent logo on the center caps.

Use metal valve stems as they may be a requirment depending on where you race.

I beleve most people are not installing tubes. If you do this don't go to low on the pressure. Hoosier leaves it to the user to decide on tubes. This may halp you decide, they cost $100 a pair for the proper tubes from the slick companies.

Lug nuts for my 2001 are 14mm x 2mm taper seat. I picked them up at the local tire and wheel shop for $1.25 each.
I beleve that earlier trucks need 12 mm but I am not sure.
