Floridian bought my Lightning

I just found out that the 2001 silver Lightning that I traded in on my new Cobra this past summer was sold to someone in Florida.
Now I don't know if that person frequents these boards, or maybe someone here knows that person or not. But I do know that whoever that person is, traced the truck to the dealer I bought it from, which was Downtown Ford, in Canton, Ohio and tried to contact me through them. Unfortunately they have a privacy policy and would not give my name out. I wish they would have called and asked me, because I would like to talk to whomever bought that truck.
If you live in Florida and purchased a 2001 silver Lightning with a black leather seat with gray inserts, a single A-pillar pod with an Autometer boost gauge, no trailer hitch, and approximately 11,000 mile on it, or you know that person, please contact me here or at mcarpen4@ford.com.
There are several other mods on this truck that are not evident unless you know what to look for. Like a 4 x 4 transmision pan, a 1# upper and a 2# lower pulley.
I have the dyno sheets and would like the buyer to know everything about this truck.
Marc

Rob_02Lightning, I have gone 11.65 @ 121.9 with just a 4# pulley, 10" filter, and Troyers Superchip. Thanks for your help
in trying to locate my old ride.

Gator, fear not as I may get my paychecks from big brother, but I mod the hell out of my SVT's and would fight big brother if they tried to deny me any warranty work. And although I am in Management, I would never turn on an SVT brother. Those that think big brother lingers here to try to void warranties is drastically wrong..I was talking to one of the higher ups from World Headquarters last week and he was asking what all I had done to my Cobra as far as mods go.
Once I told him, and told him what it turns in the 1/4, he was like a young man with his first woody...Couldn't believe how much power could be extracted with so little aftermarket cost.
Fear not my friend....

No, he was to busying thrashing the clutch. He wasn't running rounds per say, but was instead, he was doing the famous Jungle Jim burnouts between rounds.
Something Jungle Jim was doing a looooong time before John Force became so well know for

Say hello to Bill Ford me today

I have crossed paths with a "new to the neighborhood" silver 01 recently on two occasions. Young guy driving it with that, I just got this smile on his face Who knows it could be your old "L". I will try to get him to stop next time I see him. You"ll be happy to hear he had it all shiney and clean.
