Thumbs up New mods rock!

Well i put my 4# lower on, with new plugs and a predator with a JLP tune on today... ...oh yeah, it kicks a$$!!! the plugs went in with very few problems, just the back two were a pain.

the predator hooked up easy and was pretty fool proof, now i just gotta get to the dyno and see what ive got at the wheels!!!

im going to try to get to the dyno sometime this week just to double check the a/f (better safe than sorry), im sure the JLP tune is good, it runs like a champ and i cant hear any pinging at all!

i cant wait to get to the track, im wanting that 12 sec club membership pretty badly!

does anyone have a guess at what ill run? ive heard that the mods ive got are almost a 12 sec guarantee? any guess on hp? i cant wait, im to anxious...

my current mods are...

JLP tuned predator
4# lower
FTVB
PSP fast air
Bassani cat back
denso it22's

thanks for the input guys!!

Congrats man. I just installed the same things last week and I still can't wipe the smile off my face. I don't have a dyno near by and haven't been able to check A/F's, so I'd be curious to see your numbers. Mine seems to be safe enough, no pinging and it's almost like wheel spin on demand. Post the numbers after you hit the dyno.

This was my favorite mod that came in the box with the other stuff. Color even matches my L.

I'm not sure of your altitude or octane?

But you have the mods it takes to bust a 12 in cool air & on a sticky track.

BTW: get some traction bars to keep the rear end from twisting on those shifts.

you dont need to go to the dyno unless you want to..... Your A/F is safe with the predator. The R&D was extensive ....your computer can make any neccesary adjustments with whatever program you downloaded. Post your dyno results if you go and prove me right 19 degrees of timing ? Did JLP reccomend a dyno?

I certainly would (and will be as my predator came back from jlp yesterday). Yes the tunes have been tested, however all the trucks don't run the exact same way (A/F's are slightly different for everybody), not to mention different gas etc...

Not trying to scare you, as you likely are safe. But a dyno is cheap insurance to find out (as opposed to blowing a block). Besides dyno numbers are fun to see....

im kinda in the "better safe than sorry" catagory...80 bucks to check, or a whole lot more to replace the bottom end...

im confident that my a/f is fine, just wanna make sure!

ill definately post the results up here, i hope you are right RED, im not sure where the 19 degrees came from, im not sure how much he advanced it, but he didnt reccomend a dyno, just something i wanna do. and i wanna see if i get the 400/500 club!

fast gator...youre giving me hope, cant wait till the weekend

Why in the he!! do you have on snow tires in San Diego? They can't even spell snow in SD. I've lived there 3 different times, and you could still wear shorts in the winter time.

You do have a dyno near you...you just have to know where to look.

My boy Keith owns Force Fed Performance in Yuba City. He has a dyno with a bunch of capabilities. He built my stang and built numerous other cars for guys as far down south as San Diego.

He's a pleasure to work with, honest....and will NEVER cheat you. He has a reputation for being one of the most honest, down-to-earth, with no "I'm a badass attitude" mechanics in NorCal.

Keith and I go WAYYYYYYYYY back.

Heh, my stang is still on his site. "Armando's 00'GT Vert"
