Has anyone done this before?

I dont know if a lot of people have gotten their trucks to come off the ground at the track let alone on the street. But has anyone pulled the wheels off the ground in any of their other cars in the past??? Who all pulls the wheels at the track in our trucks?
Isn't that a cool pic?
Shane

Thats what I was wondering too. I dont know if two cars can hook like that on the street and pull the wheels. I figured it was Photochoped too. Its still a cool pic.
What are some cars that would pull the wheels on the street?

That has to be photoshopped. The cars were stationary when the picture was taken.

There is a great picture of Sal's truck with at least one wheel in the air.

I have a video of an 03cobra yankin the front wheels in a street race and have seen a number of old novas and that sorta car do it. I actually hope that one day my mustang can do it too. but I dunno that particular picture looks a bit shopped to me, its just to perfect.

That pic is cool, but no way are they really doing that. My dad has a '81 Chevy short box, fully tubed with wheely bars putting 750 horse to the wheels, and he can lift the front up. That is the combo of major horse and major rear traction. Something which these cars do not have.

Actually, If you Dad is putting 750RWHP he can lift the wheels. The reason he doesnt is because he has his suspension setup properly. Lifting the wheels is cool but its wasted energy and if you ever go to the track you will see the cars with proper suspension will shoot forward with the wheels raising a little.

There are no burnout marks behind them from heating up the tires, and I think there should be more space between the front wheel and fender and less in the back.
