Why would Dodge PVO give their truck so many disadvantages(22s, 6-speed standard, weighing in at 5300 pounds) if they wanted so badly to whoop up on us L owners? Perhaps they should have done some better planning instead of trying to make the truck look good(which it doesn't).
So true.

Im sick and tired of excuses.

Ya you do have to shift it.Thats your problem,You bought it!

Ya it does have 22s.Thats your problem, you bought it.

Ya it weighs more than the Lightning by more than the tow rating, thats your problem, you bought it

Those are ALL problems that come with the overpriced piece if *****.No excuses.Dont start complaining now that you have one how many disadvantages it has,Your the idiot who spent 15k more for a ugly, heavy, non traction getting ,clunky shifting toilet.

Dodge boys are full of excuses.........always have been.

Go ahead and say it, "For 45,000 it should be quicker than that." Right or wrong for a 5300 lb truck with 22's to run as quick as a stock Vette which is 2000 lbs lighter is pretty good.
is.
GOod luck fitting some 18's on it and trying to make nitto's hook 500 hp.

BTW good luck findning a stock L heck mine went 2 days stock and i already have parts here for the cobra and i dont even have it ready yet.

Didn't motortrend get a pretty good time out of a stocker?

That truck could be a serious contender with a set of slicks & some traction bars. Granted, it may burn up the clutch on the 4th time down the track...but if you can justify 40k+ for a truck that doesn't tow, you can probably afford a new clutch every other week.
