These races look kinnda odd, What do you guys think?

Why didn't the lightning make them slow down to 10-20mph then kick it? We all know the outcome would have been

 

Yeah....Notice all of his race were from a fast roll already....Out of the hole that thing has nothing......I'm not impressed...

I would, however, like to see it from a standstill to see how it does vs. the L.

 

The SHO was fast for sure... however:

why where these races only 5 secs or less? and why from such a high speed roll? It seemed these races where "a little" bit bent toward the turbo SHO's strongpoints...

I say, take those cars to a legal 1/4 track, and run... who ever gets to the end first wins.. this other stuff is kinda pansyas$ed.

course thats just my opinion, I could be wrong

 

Stop light to stop light is all I'm interested in. That's a strong car; but, I'd take the 'Vette or Lightning over any of the SHOs on the strip. Now an SVO mustang with some nice work done to it might be a different story.

 

sorry, but this vid was kinda like having a gas mileage competition or something.......
the character development was kindof rushed, the plot was OK, and the ending left one thinking there just had to be more to the story.

Oh, and I lowered my cholesterol....

 

1. Lightning woulda owned from a standstill but awell
2. That Corvette was about to walk his silly SHO but the SHO let off because he saw it too.
3. Why waste money on those hideous looking cars?

looks VERY impressive to me...I saw that posted last night on the vwvortex forums...there was another video too...the speed picks up like MAD, even over 100 mph. Those things are siiickkkkkkk. Im impressed.

 

Sure glad I was not a victim to that SHO. That thing is FAST!

 

Maybe the guy in the turbo SHO should race his way to Lensecrafters and get some glasses. I didn't see any point in that Vette race where he "won".

 

I agree. The vette was gonna take it, but he let off. Damn nice runnin car though. I would like to see a race from a dead stop. Isn't that what drag racing is supposed to be?
