Factory Tech Valve Body

I am thinking of getting a FactoryTech Valve Body for my 2000L and I am wondering what all of you think of this mod and if you would put it in yourself or have a shop do it.
If you would put it in yourself how hard is it to do and what all is involved.???

There are probably hundreds of people on this site that have them, and I have NEVER heard of anyone complaining. You cant go wrong.

I just put mine in yesterday and it is a lot of fun! The shifts are faster and stronger, so it feels like there is added horsepower for the shifting. I have to admit, at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle it shifts rough but i like the feeling ---

If you don't want to feel the shifts, don't bother with this mod.

NO PROBLEM to put in....better to have a torque wrench handy for snugging the valve body and the pan back down. Sugg: Go ahead and also get the 4x4 oil pan w/ drain plug. Trans fluid changes will be a snap from now on!

Vampire,

Great mod. Even for those that turn when we race.

The best

I agree with everyone, the valve body is the best money u can spend, makes the truck come alive and Greg Evans{Factory Tec} makes a great product had one in my truck for two yrs works great and no concerns, you will be very satisified.

Vampire,

All you have to do is remove the pan, remove about 12 bolts to remove the stock valve body and install the FTVB in it's place, reinstall the pan, fill with fluid and you're done. It comes with excellent instructions and anybody can do it.

You can pay someone to do it but it's really easy to do. I makes the truck so much more fun to drive too! I've got a bunch of them in stock and ship every day.

One of my first mods, did it myself and it was very simple. Took that opportunity to install the Ford 4x4 deeper trans pan with drain plug.

What an awesome mod!
