Angry Bad Report on Factory Tech Valve Body.

Since I installed my Factory Tech Valve Body my truck is making this chirping/screeching sound from the back on the 1-2 shift. I got on it really hard on one occasion and it even caused a little 'wiggle' when the chiping noise was heard. Occasionally now the shift actually cause me to bump my head on the headrest.

Actually I LOVE THIS DAMN THING !!!! if you couldn't tell.

NASTY,
Are you sure that you meant to include the word "BAD" in your thread topic and just not "report on factory tech valve body" lol j/k
I have one and love it...I am getting tired of all this whiplash also, do anyone think there is some kind of lawsuit we can get going with that Gregg guy??

"If you got a shift kit,
you must aquit" or something.

Thumbs up

Mines a keeper also.

However since I drive it daily, I would like the 1-2 shift to be a bit more "graduated". If that word makes sense? I'd like it to be a bit softer down low on the rpms/throttle input. But yet still rip and snort at elevated revs.

WOT

I just put in a new C2 factory Tech vlv body. I had a Sonnax line mod kit which I thought was good. Well, this C2 vlv body makes me think about a 5 point harness and keeping my helmet with me. During normal driving you can feel it-just a little kick when it shifts. But I did a dead stop run and when it hit second it scared the crap out of me. The Sonnax barked 'em when it shifted, but this thing makes it feel like you hit a nitrous button. My truck has never gotten that squirrelly on a dry road during a 1-2 shift, and was NOT quite a full WOT run. It's like dumping the clutch in a manual car from a dead stop-and this is during a 1-2 shift! There was NO BARK-just revs and tire smoke! All I can say is don't buy it if you want mush. Thanks Greg. Now you've more than likely made it necessary for me to buy slicks. Easy driving--it's firm but quite tolerable--WOT--hold on! I didn't expect that much difference between my Sonnax kit and the FT but it is day and night. If you want a soft part throttle shift and tight WOT shifts you better call him and let him know so he can put some sissy stuff in it. This C2 is definitely not for people who wear "Depends". This FT valve body is right on the money. I see why he is so highly recommended. In the spring, I'm getting his converter.

Scared ya' GOOD!!! Now you know how I felt on that first WOT test run of your valve body!! I especially liked how the steering wheel pulled away from my hands!!! This thing is Da' chit!!

Side note: Factory Tech quit school because they had recess.....He don't play!! This is one serious mod. You'll feel this one on the butt dyno more than anything else you can buy. We should change its status from "Highly recomended" to "Must have Mod of the Millenia".

Good post.

If I didn't already have a FT valvebody, I'd be on the phone with Sal to order one right now.

Oh....and do I smell a little class action lawsuit brewing. I swear my neck is always stiff now.
