Never heard of that happening before. Not sure if it makes sense other then the fact that they do weigh, what 48 lbs or 38lbs or something. So maybe its just the added weight pulling the **** end down.

Truk Tracs are slapper bars if I'm right? If so, I have Lakewoods, which are basically the same thing. I can't see them lowering the *** end. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps they're creating the visual effect of making your truck seem lowered because they sit below the axle..??

I don't know. Good luck with them. Hope they do the job.

Generally, Truck-Traks will not make the rear of the truck lower, if the installation is done with the truck on level ground, and it is at normal running weight.

It is possible that they pulled a little arc out of the leaf springs, causing the truck to sit lower. Loosen the rear u-bolts, and see if that allows the truck to return to stock height.

What year truck are they installed on? Do you have a lowering kit that uses special leaf springs?

I found they made an incredible difference in the way the truck would behave when you pegged it, drove in the rain, etc.
Guys with daily driver L's that say have a chip and pulley like the pluses of having Truck Tracs. Also, the Truck Tracs are easy to install. Takes about 15 min. total with an open end wrench.
Will mention that those with L's that are really beefed up horsepower wise switch to other alternatives traction bar wise.
