What are you running?

Another question!! I am debating to go with street slicks or just regular slicks only for the track. What are you running right now? I will be installing JLP tracion bars and drive shaft loop and want something that will give me that final piece to hook up. If I go streetslicks what is the closest match I can get for rims that would fit my L? My truck is not lowered at all. Also, Hoosiers, MTs? What do you think?

I use slicks......Hoosiers 28x16x10.

Advantage..... Better traction for the launch.

Disadvantage....Track use only if you plan to race on the street.....which is bad for you anyway.

Ya man like he said. At the track I use 16" 28 x 10 Hoosier's.

For the street (and your stock rims) a great choice would be the Nitto 555R's but as said, you WILL NOT get your best 60's with them.

The better move is slicks for the track, and Nitto's for the Street.
"or"
a 16" DOT Street Slick for both, but you'd be giving up some handling and def wet weather driving too.
