Anyone know where to get touch up paint for '03/04 rims?

I was rotating the wheels last night and slipped with the wrench. Took a nice little chip out of the paint. I was just wondering what the code and where to get the touch up paint for the wheels. Our local parts is not much help without a code. Thanks

Stock '03 rim Ford paint code is: PPG 37012 . It is listed as an accent paint. Haven't needed it for my L but that is the correct paint code.

If I remember correctly. from what tech friend told me, you can just get it from a Ford dealership parts dept.. For touch-up it comes in one of those small, little, slim bottles with the brush attached to the top.

I'm assuming it's the same for all year (01+) wheels, as they all "appear" to have the same finish?

I've got some curb rash I've been meaning to deal with...

Okay just as I thought my local ford parts can't help me out. Since they don't have a ford code they won't list it or find it. He did call the paint supplier though and he said it was probably a mix formula, but that he couldn't sell me the paint through the ford dealer because they are not authorized re-sellers.

Any ideas? All I want is a little friggen paint to touch up a booboo. It might be easier just to buy another wheel

i would call around to another parts department. i know the one i go to has a display of touch up paint sitting on the counter, i would guess that they all should have something like that.

Oh I am sorry. They do have touch up paint but not for wheels. Maybe I'll just contact a SVT dealer in my state and see what they have to say. Thank anyways.
