I have recently picked up an Autometer Lunar Boost Gauge without the vaccum on it. Is this ok? I can still send it back and get the one with vac on it.

 

yes it's fine without vacuum. I got the same one. actually the vendor that I purchased from only stocked the one WITH vacuum readings, so I asked them to special order the one without.

you should get more accurate readings due to the graduation of the gauge.

if nothing else, it's easier to read because it's bigger.

vacuum is useless except for diagnostic purposes, and you'd be under the hood for that anyway.

for the most part though the boost gauge is just for looks and fun anyway, so just get whichever one you like.

Which Gauge Pod should I get? I have an Air/Fuel, Boost, and im getting a Trans Temp gauge(or should I get a different one?). I read that rkkcustom has lotec gauges painted to match.

 

I tried to order a pod from rkkustom in december and they apparently are not in business. (reorganizing their business) is what theyre e-mail said to me.....I ordered my 2 guage pod from guagepods.com and it came painted to match the interior. I also got the Autometer Lunar Series boost and trans temp guages. the setup looks great!!!

 

How do I know which color I have? At gaugepods.com it asks if I have med. parchant or light grey. Anyone got a comparison pic?

 

if yopu have an L, it is light grey........cobras have the parchment color.
