Question Hesitation towards WOT

Recently my '02 Lightning has had a tendency to hesitate when flooring the pedal, i.e. when the rpm gets up to about 3500 and the SC is pumping big volumes, the engine starts kind of choking on me, even when at normal temp. Almost sounds like it's only running on a subset of cylinders when it happens, which doesn't really make sence.

I have 20k on the truck and have recently done the boost bypass mod according to RPM outlets instructions. Other mods are MAC air filter, Accufab TB, JDM long tube headers, Cat-Backs and Magnaflows, and as such I expect the dealer to void my warrenty if I show up ?

No OBDII codes are present so I assume all sensors are ok and as such I can only think of:
1. Cleaning the air filter. Any special product (kit) to use?
2. Replacing fuel filter. Haven't looked yet, any hints as far as location?

Any other possible suggestions would be highly appreciated. Also if anyone can recommend a shop manual, please let me know. Thx.

Almost had an old M3 eat me due to this issue

Talking

Fuel filter changed (also cleaned the TB). Made a couple of perfect WOT runs. Everything back to normal

Thx all!

BTW: Forgot to reconnect the TPS connecter to the TB on the first test ride. Boy, forgetting about that one will mess up the EEC and make it one rough ride. Even with _very_ moderate acceleration the transmission won't change in to 2nd until you hit red light in first and then 2nd and 3rd kicks in with a joult that'll make the belts slip and make you happy about the head rest....

P.S., keep your mouth closed any time liquid is being ejected. Period.

Lay off the "Sausage" man, it will cause you to lose bowel control thus leading to the runs......

Lay of the "protein" shakes also, they are not good for no matter what Bubba tells you....

Heh.....
