I bought the FTVB and geeeeez, that made a heck of a difference BUT still found I was pushing the OD button on and off repeatedly when say cruising / tooling around town. I just like the feeling of riding in a lower gear! You know like if you were driving a stick and keeping it in lower gear you you could hear the exhaust, feel the torque, etc..
my L now has the 3-4 upshift not occuring until 55mph. This is slicker then chitttt! NOW, no more need to turn OD on and off. It's great, but of course using a tad more gas. Between the FTVB and the 3-4 upshift not occuring until 55mph, well, it is like I would drive it if it were stick shift. Yup, happy L owner here. 8-) THANKS SAL !
that's really cool you were able to work that out with Sal and the Preditor. What you said above is exactly what I was thinking. I like driving a manual car in a lower gear because of the throttle responce and the torqe. But when the truck upshifts, it doesnt have much. (it has to downshift to make the power) I turn od off a lot too. I wish I had that option in a chip setting. Thanks for the report.

The same thing can be done with a chip.

thanks sal, I was going to ask. What is the option called if I were to ask my tuner to burn it on a Diablo or a Superchip verse a preditor? Thanks again, Shane
