dirtchicken, sorry didnt know you were doing it all by yourself, if you need a hand call me 349-5474, havent put a motor in myself, but Im sure that 6 hands are better than 4. Hopefully if you do need any help, it wont be when Im out of town. - 24th-31st. (acutally, now that I think about it, I probably would have slowed you down with me being sick and all--------getting better but not 100%yet)

BTW, I noticed you mentioned that it blew at 25,9XX , did you try to warranty it or did you just say F--it !, just go with a built block.

Mortis, I took it to McKennas and they said sorry. I took the pulley off but they knew it was chipped. They wanted to charge me $1800 to pull the oil pan and drivers side head. I told them to get fu(ked.

Glad it's out Dirt

What exactly was the cause of that ?
Looking at the Pic's, I see you also had a wet Cylinder, right
next to the bad one. Also seems like it was running lean,
wouldn't you say ?

Oh BTW
this is my Fav pic's

Correctomundo Rob, she went lean on me after a 15 mile wide open throttle race with my roomates modded Z28. That ******* finally backed off and lost the race. He thought I was crazy.

Dude. Do you have like a really good paying job, or did you hit the lottery? You're spending some serious $$$$ to get your L back on the road.

That explains the being in Hawaii part. I was there for the same reason. My dad was statiioned I think officially at Pearl, but mostly worked out at Westgate in Ewa Beach. He was EOD.
