I got it with my new Alpine head unit. I like it, I don't even listen to my local stations anymore.

 

i have it from when it first came out and love it, feb 1
they go commercial free with no change in price,
their also planning on adding video soon.
i dont listen to fm anymore at all.

Only thing I don't like, is the blob antenna on my roof.

I painted my antenna trying to blend in with the roof a little better. Still , I get questions like"What's that, A Camera on your roof?"

They have a lower profile antenna available now, It's about half the height of my old antenna. I may change to the new one sometime in the near future.

 

How much does it cost a month

I've never used either one, so I can't comment on it personally. I venture into a few car audio message boards, and the consensus I get from them is that the Sirius sattelite system is better than XM. Better programming and better quality of sound. This was said by several posters who have had both. I've also discussed with some of the local car stereo shops that carry both. If you already have a headunit that is XM ready, then that would definitely be the way to go, but if you're adding to your factory system or plan on getting a headunit also, you might want to look into Sirius. I know Sirius has had some promotions on for a free receiver. Good luck in whatever you choose.
