Lightbulb Thoughts On Long Tube Headers??

I am currently running all the usual bolt on's with a 4# lower,
NX 75-100hp shot and high flow cats with the JDM Silver Bullet cat-back. I am currently running the factory manifolds and am curious to see if you guy's think that I should add a set of long tube headers? Are the factory manifolds really that restricitve? What kind of rwhp and trq should I see from just the long tubes?

the stock ones are nice.....long tubes are only needed if you are making big power.

IF anything it will make it a little safer by lowering the boost level.

Hankfan with the nitrous you are making big enough power to justify having them! I put a set on last year around September and noticed 9 HP and 15 TQ all the way through the power band! If you look at the Hp you get for the money you spend I waould say Dumb purchase, Although If you plan on continuing the modding and you have a goal of 11.99 or less I would say buy them because the more mods you put on the truck to make hp the more restrictive those factory manifolds become. I hope this helps!

HANKFAN, what shot are you running? also w the spray are you running out of gear at the end of the track w/the 4.10's. I'm thinkig of installing my 4.10's but have been told I'll run out of gear at the topend. I have kook's long tubes and the sound alone is worth it to me
