I just came back in from getting a full diagnostic and having a new O2 sensor being installed. I didn't even pull the chip out of the truck. I just unplugged it so it wouldn't show up as a 3.0 Ranger on the diagnostic computer. Covered under warranty.

I don't expect this to happen if I blow something up though.

You've got yourself one good dealer. That's the way it should be. Your pulley obviously had nothing to do with your steering.

I had a issue with my truck pulling right whenever I let go of the wheel. Pretty sever drift I think. Anyway, my local dealer in Indiana tried to tell me that it is the way all cars are designed. In case you fall asleep they want it to veer AWAY from oncoming traffic.

It was one of the better stories I have heard, lol.

Actually the owner's manual for my S10 says something about that. It should be a very very slight drift right though.

my L has pulled to the right severley since the day I got it and the dealership went so far as to deny my suspension warranty due to curb rash so they wouldn't have to fix it. To this day it still pulls to the right....
