my L is getting a face lift!

ok after messing up the front end of my truck last weekend...the truck is going to the body shop...and i was doing some thinking....ive never seen a carbon fiber hood on our trucks...i think is would look pretty cool on my silver truck, along with those carbon fiber headlights...has anybody got a pic of a carbon fiber hood on a silver L, and where i might find one?? the body shop said i need to replace:
1. Hood
2. Headlights
3. Grill
4. Bumper

And i was also thinking, While its in the shop, dong some custom paint somewhere on the truck, like getting the saleen "supercharged" graphics on the door, or something that says "Kene Bell supercharged" ideas and comments are welcomed..tell me if you think it would look stupid, i value you guys opinions

thanks everyone!
-LEO

I've seen some of the Elite cars and they look good, but I've heard some bad stuff about them. Some guys say they got scammed from them, so if you use Elite get everything in writing. Try calling G&G Auto Salon for a quote first, they're on Alantic blvd. just past Coggin Pontiac in the Regency area. I've used them for a bunch of projects, they take a bit longer than others but I think they're the best in north Fl. for custom stuff. You can see 2 of their trucks in person at the shop that were covers in Truckin' magazine. 725-7200, ask for Glenn Strickland (owner) or Shawn. I'd suggest visiting a few different shops, just to get an idea of their work habbits, plus you can check out the caliber cars they paint.

One more thing, try registering on www.jaxracing.com for some opinions. The owners of a lot of the performance shops in town post there, plus you can probably get some opinions from people who have used Elite. The guys on that site can usually recommend good shops based on firsthand experience.

I dont know how it would look but you can get a Carbon Fiber hood from here dgmotorsports.com/ They are a bit expensive though....I think the Kenne Bell Equipped or Kenne Bell SuperCharged idea painted into the truck would look good as long as you picked the right place to put it.

In my honest opinion, i think u should go for a more aggressivly shaped hood, like one with a hood scoop, rather than a carbon fiber one, the cf one might make ure truck look a bit ricey, besides, its not gonna save u that much weight.

I don't know the quality of this bumper, but it looks cool

Also it might be cool to fill the holes in the fenders and have a Lightning logo painted in the same place. If you want to do that I can get you a set of logos cut into paint mask.
