Hey guys

i was going home and i desided to wot the truck
And the truck began to act really weird , it wouldnt shift good
and now if i ran it in drive the trans would sound very strange
Like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz like grindin mettal really fast
What is wrong with my transmission??

I need help

 

not much help but id say not good

 

That noise at WOT, from what you say, sounds like detonation (knock, pinging, pre-ignition, etc....)

 

when i put it in drive and push the trottle a little it will give you a strange noise like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Its like grinding metal really fast and if you go at higher rpm it gets louder

 

Are the transmission and converter stock? As in never worked on? Does it make the noise in park?

don't know I went to home with the truck so i can not hurt annything else Drove home about 30mph

I don't know why, but I feel it has something to do with the front pump. Since you have Greg's attention (Factory_Tech) I would talk with him about it. If he can't answer your question -- noone can.

P.S. You might not want to put Greg's name in the same sentence as level 10......

 

No No: stay away and I mean far away from Level10

I sent Level10 my perfectlly good stock transmision, to have them do a performance build up on it. It didn't make it back from their shop before it had problems. I then brought it back to them to get fixed, and it still didn't make it a a whole season. It was spewing fluid out of the vent, and sliping like a ****.

I now have a Factory Tech trans that is holding up awesome to 763rwtq.

So take my advice take your trans and send it to Greg for a buildup. I know it isn't cheep, but it will take all the power you can throw at it.

Oh by the way this is how my truck left level10 after the 2nd rebuild

and they didn't tightnen the bolts at the header conectors
which caused this
