Thumbs up Ford Stock!

Did any of you fellas get in on Ford stock less than a year ago when it was $6 and some change like I did? It's now over $16. Any long term holders know what the high is? Also, does anyone with a passion for the stocks know what the rise means as far as the company goes? I thought Ford was having difficulties. Thanks.

I just sold a very large chunk of it, had a gain of about 62K on it, but I'm buying back all of it in January. I told several people it would end the year over $16 (when it was below 12) and will go down to below $13 in January, then go back up to over 20 before the end of 2004, bookmark this page, I, so I can say I told you so!

and for all that, I think we've turned the corner, things are getting better, we now have someone running things who thinks building cars is a good idea, which was the problem for a few years there.

I stuck my toe in the water at $12. I'll probably buy more. IMHO it's a good stock. We can be expecting a dividend in February. Peter Lynch used to tell anyone who would listen that, if you know and like the product, you will probably like the stock. He's been right many, many times...

gramps has about 250K in, gained another 250k then 911 and explorer wheels, lost about 250k, so hopefuly it will go back up, since he is getting low on money
